The newer UC800 control scheme comes standard for all new Trane centrifugal chillers like the ones shown here. They require specialized software to troubleshoot, repair, and provide complete reports on the status of the chiller. The touch screen gives an excellent working image while the chiller is in operation and provides easy front end data for a plant operator to process. It is becoming more common in the Orlando, Central Florida area due to new chiller change outs and retrofits to this new control design.
