Coil Replacement
Do your coils look like this? If so they need to be replaced in a very timely manner. Air cooled chiller coils have a reduced lifespan here in Central Florida due to higher salt content in the air. Without preventative maintenance it can reduce the life of the chiller significantly and lead to costly repairs or even replacements of the entire coil for the chiller. To slow this level of corrosion in air cooled chillers Thermetrics uses non-acidic cleaner that increases the chiller coils’ useful life. This service is part of our standard maintenance contract and is well worth the cost to extend a chiller coil’s lifespan.
