Trane CVHE Centrifugal Chiller Overhaul Teardown
Thermetrics technicians performing an overhaul teardown on a 500 ton Trane CVHE Centrifugal Chiller at a Central Florida Orlando school. The rear bearing on the hermetic motor was beginning to fail, damaging the rotor shaft. The motor was sent out for machining and repair.
